I’m Headed to Curaçao in a week—and I cannot wait! This will be a new adventure for me so I want to be sure and bring you along!

In a week and a couple of days from now I’ll be stepping off the plane in beautiful Curaçao! This colorful gem in the southern Caribbean has been on my bucket list and I am going to visit and tour Sandals. I am more than sure if this one isn’t on your list just yet, you are going to want to add it.

As a travel advisor, I’ve sent clients all over the world, and one of my favorite things to do is to visit these places as well so that I can enjoy them yes, but also so that I can trust and experience the product I am promoting to you as the client.

Here’s why I’m counting down the days:

1. That Water…

I’m ready to dip my toes into the clear, blue water – if you know then you know. From the postcard-worthy Playa Kenepa to the secret coves you can only reach by boat, Curaçao’s beaches are absolutely stunning.

2. The Charm of Willemstad

I can’t wait to stroll through the pastel-painted streets of Willemstad—Curaçao’s colorful capital. It’s one of those postcard images that everyone recognizes once they see it! Between the floating markets, the Queen Emma Bridge, and those iconic Dutch Caribbean buildings, it’s going to be such a great time!

3. Food, Fun, and Adventure

What are your favorite things to eat? I know that is a big deal for a lot of my clients. One of the best parts about Sandals Resorts is the world class fine dining restaurant options on the property that are included with your stay. The food mixed with the adventures make for a vacation you cannot forget! Curacao has popular cave tours, off-road island exploring, and a hike in Christoffel Park!

4. Sunshine Every Day

Oh and one of the best parts… You don’t have to plan around hurricane season! Curaçao is outside the hurricane belt. That means warm, sunny weather almost all year long. I love to recommend going here for my clients that are wanting to travel during the possibility of hurricanes. The last thing anyone really wants is to take a vacation into a hurricane.
